The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Hess came free, but Ruy Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maurinho Prestes came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Papunhas EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurinho Prestes couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julio Hess in the 13th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Papunhas EC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Titus Pierson was slow to take the kick. During this time Brooklyn SC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Brooklyn SC's corner Titus Pierson fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Oliveira quite easily take care of the ball. Ruy Oliveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henry Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Ruy Oliveira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ruy Oliveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Hess in the 33rd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Hess. Ruy Oliveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Hess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Julio Hess recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ruy Oliveira. Julio Hess showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When Ash Fox got free in front of the goal in the 51st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Ruy Oliveira was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Ruy Oliveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titus Pierson in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes in the game, Titus Pierson dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Richard Roma in the 58th minute of play forced Papunhas EC's goalkeeper Ruy Oliveira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frédson Rosa in the 60th minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Charlie Bucket to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Papunhas EC's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Hess came free, but Ruy Oliveira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Papunhas EC's Ruy Oliveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Hess in the 65th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Brooklyn SC's Julio Hess made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After a defensive mix-up in Papunhas EC's zone, Julio Hess stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruy Oliveira came out of the goal and Julio Hess tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Richard Madureira got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 81st minute, Joaquim da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 82 played minutes Papunhas EC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim da Fonseca. If Richard Roma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th minute, Julio Hess made a precise shot to the right of Ruy Oliveira. Papunhas EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Papunhas EC's Maurinho Prestes got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
