Júlio Gaspar helped the player get up and apologised. Júlio Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cactos's Diguinho de Toledo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Teodoro Tasso hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's zone, Armando Gerber stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cláudio Penha came out of the goal and Armando Gerber tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cactos's Deivid Rosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víktor Albuquerque in the 46th minute of play. After the first half ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Franklin Leite made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu Montenegro came free, but Cláudio Penha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ValenBehr F.C. - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
