Spectators: 7506 (Terracing: 5630, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 150) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Richard Roma got the match started through his kick off. Frankie Gunn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto de Azevedo in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Paulo Renato Dracena made a precise shot to the right of Frankie Gunn. Brooklyn SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Frankie Gunn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto de Azevedo went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Douglas Pace's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedrão Sarmento was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. The Brooklyn SC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Brooklyn SC's Douglas Pace looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diogo Bueno in the 23rd minute of play forced Brooklyn SC's goalkeeper Frankie Gunn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Greg Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eddie Zamora's late challenge caught a Vista Alegre FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eddie Zamora helped the player get up and apologised. Richard Roma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedrão Sarmento having to interfere. After 46 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Régis Barros. After the first half Vista Alegre FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 51 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto de Azevedo. 53 minutes into the game, Brooklyn SC's Julio Hess nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedrão Sarmento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 56th minute Richard Roma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 played minutes Vista Alegre FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Trigo. In the 58th minute of the match Titus Pierson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pedrão Sarmento skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Renato Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Cauan Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Frankie Gunn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Régis Barros hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 65thth minute of the game Richard Roma who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Richard Roma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Eddie Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedrão Sarmento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute Cauan Marinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frankie Gunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Julio Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Vista Alegre FC booed when Brooklyn SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eddie Zamora didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Eddie Zamora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pedrão Sarmento was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Pedrão Sarmento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julio Hess, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes Brooklyn SC got a freekick which was hit by Ace Owens. After 88 played minutes Paulo Renato Dracena scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Frankie Gunn who was too lazy, 3-4. Vista Alegre FC's Pedrão Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Roma in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle went the supporters of Vista Alegre FC were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Brooklyn SC side.
