The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Heiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evandro Bastos, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 13th minute Oswaldo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Hoffmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Wesley having to interfere. Kuno Heiberg was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Oswaldo Trancoso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. In the 26th minute, Cristian Hoffmann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pendotiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 31st minute Oswaldo Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kuno Heiberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lúcio Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Kuno Heiberg made a huge save. 42 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Compostela FSCMZ's Oswaldo Trancoso fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. After having played for 45 minutes, Naldo Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pendotiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Hermes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kuno Heiberg made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Evandro Bastos sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pendotiba's Eusébio da Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Virgílio Miranda in the 54 minute of the game. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lúcio Dantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Compostela FSCMZ booed when Pendotiba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurențiu Stârcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pendotiba's Laurențiu Stârcea got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Cristian Hoffmann came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pendotiba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Hoffmann couldn't finish the play. In the 70th match minute, Compostela FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgílio Miranda to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Hoffmann in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Wesley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pendotiba's Kuno Heiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton Baptista in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Compostela FSCMZ's Virgílio Miranda got a free kick in the 74th minute. When João Francisco Falcão fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Compostela FSCMZ's protests and gave João Francisco Falcão a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Compostela FSCMZ getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. João Francisco Falcão hit a great ball. Kuno Heiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aílton Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Naldo Hermes hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
