Andreas Berglund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Gædd FK from getting a goal against them. Octavio Tono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Andreas Berglund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Octavio Tono who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Andreas Berglund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Super Penalitop's Honorio Arano got a free kick in the 15th minute. The supporters of Gædd FK booed when Super Penalitop was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Ixona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Octavio Tono cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. In the 33rd minute of the match Super Penalitop got a corner. Gædd FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mórits Kaa ran over to the corner to take the kick. 36 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Vincent Ørkild came free, but Andreas Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lion Milei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geir-Inge Unhjem in the 37th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Vincent Ørkild shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute of the match, Vincent Ørkild tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Andreas Berglund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lion Milei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geir-Inge Unhjem, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Vincent Ørkild in the 74th minute of play forced Gædd FK's goalkeeper Andreas Berglund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Gædd FK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Severin Hussein hit a great ball. Severin Husseins short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Lion Milei to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some careless play in the Gædd FK defense, Vincent Ørkild kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andreas Berglund. The Gædd FK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andreas Berglund should have stopped the shot. Andreas Berglund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Tono in the 94th minute of play. Andreas Berglund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andre Iniesta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 97th minute Super Penalitop were awarded a corner. Mórits Kaa went to the cornerflag to take it. Gædd FK's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
