Fala Sério FC's Alexsandro Ribeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Fala Sério FC from getting a goal against them. Alexsandro Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tor-Ivar Mæhle in the 15th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Tor-Ivar Mæhle notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Fala Sério FC's Alexsandro Ribeiro. Alexsandro Ribeiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 19 minutes into the match, Gædd FK's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Romero came free, but Andreas Berglund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, José Pedro Paraense had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andreas Berglund. Gædd FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that José Pedro Paraense was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Severin Hussein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gædd FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Severin Hussein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alexsandro Ribeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute José Pedro Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Berglund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severin Hussein received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Alexsandro Ribeiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Severin Hussein slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 34th minute. In the 37th match minute, Fala Sério FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Couto to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the match, Fala Sério FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alf-Inge Hol came free, but Alexsandro Ribeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan-Frode Singstad's late challenge caught a Fala Sério FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Frode Singstad helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Fala Sério FC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dé Linares, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund. 3-2. Severin Hussein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match it was 4-2 when Severin Hussein shot a long shot which zipped by Fala Sério FC's goalkeeper at the right pole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Severin Hussein to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Gædd FK booed when Fala Sério FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dé Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Severin Hussein in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alexsandro Ribeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dé Linares during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 64 minutes, Severin Hussein made it 5-2 with a short kick to the right side. Fala Sério FC's Alexsandro Ribeiro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gædd FK's Andreas Berglund proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Gædd FK from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjetil Hellevik in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alexsandro Ribeiro saved Fala Sério FC from getting behind. Alexsandro Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severin Hussein in the 78th minute of the match. Severin Hussein recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alexsandro Ribeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severin Hussein in the 82nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Severin Hussein put it in 6-2 from a short distance just to the right of Alexsandro Ribeiro. Alexsandro Ribeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severin Hussein, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 91st minute, Severin Hussein made a precise shot to the right of Alexsandro Ribeiro. Fala Sério FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Afonso Pitta hit a great freekick 100 minutes into the match. Severin Hussein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexsandro Ribeiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 101st minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fala Sério FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gædd FK.
