Bengt-Åke Kleen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Fredrik Stenquist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doffes Damer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Geležinis Vilkas the free kick. A collision led to Doffes Damer getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Fredrik Stenquist hit a great ball. Rupertas Laurinavičius in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bengt-Åke Kleen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Algitas Sadauskas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Bengt-Åke Kleen to make any attempt to save it. 29 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rupertas Lazauskas. Bengt-Åke Kleen made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Algitas Sadauskas sent off a good shot on target. Doffes Damer's attentive Fredrik Stenquist managed to snatch the ball when Rupertas Lazauskas made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. Rupertas Laurinavičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Bengt-Åke Kleen made a huge save. After 38 played minutes Doffes Damer got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Persson. In the 39th minute, Justinas Paliūnas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Juozas Zelmikas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Kjellkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Verner Kjellkvist to make the kick off. Algitas Sadauskas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bengt-Åke Kleen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 52 minutes into the game, Doffes Damer's Verner Kjellkvist nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juozas Zelmikas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Rupertas Laurinavičius took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bengt-Åke Kleen. Bengt-Åke Kleen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. In the 61st match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mats Österlund to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Danas Niauronis came free, but Bengt-Åke Kleen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 72 minutes, Kristupas Kirkutis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Geležinis Vilkas and the Doffes Damer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Geležinis Vilkas's Juozas Zelmikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arman Uter in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nerūnas Stulgys in the 81st minute of play forced Doffes Damer's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Kleen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juozas Zelmikas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arman Uter in the 85th minute of play. In the 86th minute Rupertas Laurinavičius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Kleen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kristupas Kirkutis kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Geležinis Vilkas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
