After 8 minutes, Álmos Sárkány mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vérsárkány SE and the Geležinis Vilkas players grew even worse after the yellow card. Álmos Sárkány kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Máté Kőváry left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vérsárkány SE fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Kristupas Kirkutis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kristupas Kirkutis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kristupas Kirkutis kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Geležinis Vilkas's Danas Niauronis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of József Bozsik. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. In the 23rd minute Máté Kőváry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juozas Zelmikas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Bendegúz Oroszlán cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Juozas Zelmikas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rupertas Laurinavičius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but József Bozsik made a huge save. Geležinis Vilkas's Juozas Zelmikas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nimród Vadász in the 34th minute of play. Máté Kőváry took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juozas Zelmikas. Juozas Zelmikas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Rupertas Laurinavičius scored 2-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of József Bozsik, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. József Bozsik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Danas Niauronis, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Danas Niauronis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kristupas Kirkutis got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Vérsárkány SE booed when Geležinis Vilkas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kristupas Kirkutis didn't get a good kick on the ball. József Bozsik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rupertas Laurinavičius in the 81st minute of the match. In the 82ndth minute of the game Justinas Paliūnas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vérsárkány SE's József Bozsik was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Algitas Sadauskas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geležinis Vilkas's Juozas Zelmikas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Geležinis Vilkas from getting a goal against them. Álmos Sárkány sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Álmos Sárkány had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Máté Kőváry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Juozas Zelmikas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gergely Gerő went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Vérsárkány SE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
