In the 23rd minute Danila Melnikov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hıdır Sirri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galatasaray SK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Yeşim Topcu scored to the left of an out of position Stanislav Kaiturov, making the score, 3-0. 31 minutes into the match, Galatasaray SK's goalkeeper Stanislav Kaiturov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yeşim Topcu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yeşim Topcu got free with Stanislav Kaiturov in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ömer Topcu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Denis Ispovednikov got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Denis Ispovednikov to strike the kick off in the second half.
