Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Tigers of Bistritsa's Asparuh Bubov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Grêmio FBPA got a freekick which was hit by Bernardinho Guerra. Tigers of Bistritsa's Evstati Dokev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdir de Alcântara in the 9th minute of play. Evstati Dokev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Alves in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Valdir de Alcântara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Dokev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rui Varela made an important save on a dangerous shot by Asparuh Bubov in the 19th minute. Valdir de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Evstati Dokev didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio FBPA. Evstati Dokev came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio FBPA's Valdir de Alcântara. But to his dismay, Valdir de Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Evstati Dokev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdir de Alcântara in the 33rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdir de Alcântara in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evstati Dokev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Evstati Dokev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gildo Fantini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdir de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Tigers of Bistritsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radoslav Dzhangozov to maneuver through the defense. In the 43rd minute Wilian Alves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evstati Dokev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evstati Dokev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir de Alcântara in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Valdir de Alcântara made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Grêmio FBPA's Valdir de Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Evstati Dokev. Evstati Dokev yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. 55 minutes into the game, Claudinho Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grêmio FBPA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigers of Bistritsa the free kick. The supporters of Tigers of Bistritsa booed when Grêmio FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinho Zonta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 60 minutes, Nikolay Hambarski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tigers of Bistritsa and the Grêmio FBPA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tigers of Bistritsa's Nikolay Hambarski got a free kick in the 61st minute. Evstati Dokev acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Wilian Alves. Evstati Dokev made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gildo Fantini sent off a good shot on target. Evstati Dokev was a little too slow when Valdir de Alcântara got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 71st minute. The score was now 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Amadeu Pitta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio FBPA's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeu Pitta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Evstati Dokev breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78th minute, Valdir de Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evstati Dokev was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Amadeu Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wilian Alves came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Grêmio FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilian Alves couldn't finish the play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Trendafil Etov put in a rough tackle. In the 88th minute, one of Tigers of Bistritsa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tigers of Bistritsa. Valdir de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 95thth minute, Evstati Dokev skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 97th minute, Grêmio FBPA's Wilian Alves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6.
