Ajax's Gigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Perrando in the 5th minute of play. Feliciano Rey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gigi Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Perrando in the 13th minute of play. Freddy Gil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Freddy Gil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 25 played minutes Club Atletico Chusca got a freekick which was hit by Silvano Geleberto. Tiburcio Maore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tytus Dudek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Silvano Geleberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wieslaw Cerocki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Tiburcio Maore made a huge save. After 34 minutes of play, Club Atletico Chusca's Alfonso Perrando made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gigi Buffon was left in no man's land by his defense there! Remigiusz Galaska struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Tiburcio Maore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ajax. When Wieslaw Cerocki came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Ajax fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wieslaw Cerocki couldn't finish the play. Tytus Dudek could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Tiburcio Maore made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Hernandez during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 44th minute, Placido Hernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tytus Dudek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Wieslaw Cerocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Maore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tytus Dudek in the 54th minute of the match. Ajax's Gigi Buffon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Ajax from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Remigiusz Galaska sped through Club Atletico Chusca's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiburcio Maore. Remigiusz Galaska's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiburcio Maore read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Feliciano Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Chusca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Rey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Club Atletico Chusca getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lucas Gizon hit a great ball. Ajax's Walery Nowacki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Silvano Geleberto in the 86 minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Ajax's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Gil came free, but Gigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
