A very good chance for a goal. Elvio Gonchan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radu Măliță, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Isaac Cresconio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Cenușă firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mircea Cenușă's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elvio Gonchan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Daniel Cenușă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from German Daunte in the 17th minute of the match. After 21 played minutes Muget got a freekick which was hit by Mircea Cenușă. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Cenușă in the 24th minute of play forced Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalkeeper Elvio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Radu Măliță who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Elvio Gonchan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Muget got a corner. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cristian Cenușă ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Bogdan Bărbătescu heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s supporters rose to their feet, but German Daunte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Cenușă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olimpiu Cenușă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Gonchan having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Radu Măliță to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Muget booed when Vamos Los Pibes!!!! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Muget's Ivan Cârlan got a free kick in the 59th minute. Vamos Los Pibes!!!!'s Elvio Gonchan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Cenușă in the 88th minute of play. Muget's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Cristian Cenușă in the 91st minute. Șerban Cenușă charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Șerban Cenușă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Șerban Cenușă kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Vamos Los Pibes!!!! players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
