Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Calderón Palazuelos made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute, Lennart De Keyser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th match minute, Barcelona de América was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calderón Palazuelos to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Barcelona de América's Fabio Marines got control of the ball when Lennart De Keyser tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 13 played minutes Invictus FC got a freekick which was hit by Anthoon Borginions. The audience was convinced that Johny Godefroid's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabio Marines was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Barcelona de América's zone, Johny Godefroid stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Marines came out of the goal and Johny Godefroid tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Casanande in the 27th minute of play forced Invictus FC's goalkeeper Wannes De Tapp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johny Godefroid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Fabio Marines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Fabio Marines managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Invictus FC's Lennart De Keyser fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 33rd minute, Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabio Marines. Fabio Marines yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 37 minutes into the game, Johny Godefroid recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fabio Marines. Johny Godefroid showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Calderón Palazuelos hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Invictus FC's Ludo Berghmans managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Javier Landeras in the 42 minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lennart De Keyser made the kick off in the second half. Johny Godefroid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 minutes of play, Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Marines was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabio Marines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johny Godefroid, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Fabio Marines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johny Godefroid in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Johny Godefroid in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Marines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Lennart De Keyser fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Invictus FC's protests and gave Lennart De Keyser a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th minute, Lennart De Keyser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fabio Marines took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lennart De Keyser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A sloppy throw-in by Espinola Ucles in the 75th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Invictus FC's Rafet Şikel. Wannes De Tapp was a little too slow when Edison Mendez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 3-2. Johny Godefroid took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Marines. Fabio Marines dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. After 92 minutes of play, Invictus FC's Johny Godefroid made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Marines was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Invictus FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barcelona de América had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
