Byron Wills didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Gârleanu went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 13 minutes into the match, Marshrose's goal looked a bit too open when Edgar Vlas came free, but Byron Wills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Gigel Gârleanu made a precise shot to the right of Byron Wills. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 20th minute Rupert McClure shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marius Rusu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Bara Miss got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Byron Wills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Vlas in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute, George Giurcă got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Byron Wills made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Edgar Comarnescu sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to FC ciufulici getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Edgar Comarnescu hit a great ball. FC ciufulici's Marius Rusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bara Miss in the 35th minute of play. Marshrose's Byron Wills proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Marshrose from getting a goal against them. Edgar Comarnescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Byron Wills made a huge save. Byron Wills was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgar Comarnescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Byron Wills made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Gigel Gârleanu sent off a good shot on target. Marius Rusu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Homer Childers in the 48th minute of play. In the 49th minute of the match Marshrose got a corner. FC ciufulici's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Charles Griggs ran over to the corner to take the kick. Charles Griggs made a great header on Marshrose's corner, it was just that FC ciufulici's Marius Rusu managed to reach the ball for a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bara Miss made a kick off. Byron Wills came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas. But to his dismay, Edgar Vlas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. When FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marshrose's goalie prevented a goal. Rareș Antonescu's late challenge caught a Marshrose's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rareș Antonescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th minute Edgar Comarnescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Byron Wills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Marshrose's Bara Miss ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marius Rusu. Marius Rusu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. 77 minutes into the game, FC ciufulici's Gigel Gârleanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Byron Wills made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. A collision led to Marshrose getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Emir Iğdırlı hit a great ball. Byron Wills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Comarnescu in the 82nd minute of play. Byron Wills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Vlas in the 90th minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Edgar Comarnescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC ciufulici fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. FC ciufulici's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
