After a defensive mix-up in Marshrose's zone, Rowan Tyler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Byron Wills came out of the goal and Rowan Tyler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Kristopher Cavanagh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Marshrose defense, Rowan Tyler kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Byron Wills. The Marshrose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Byron Wills should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 22 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Rowan Tyler sped through Marshrose's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Byron Wills. After 24 minutes, Rowan Tyler made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Marshrose's Byron Wills tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Byron Wills stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rowan Tyler's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Bara Miss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Byron Wills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowan Tyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Julio Kearney got a free kick in the 35th minute. Roger Crossley charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roger Crossley the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roger Crossley hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Roger Crossley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Byron Wills having to interfere. 48 minutes into the game, Gaston Sadurni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marshrose's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave T H F C the free kick. In the 50th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. Byron Wills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dominik Plumber, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bara Miss to make the kick off. Philip Davenport received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Byron Wills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emir Iğdırlı's late challenge caught a T H F C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emir Iğdırlı helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Marshrose's Emir Iğdırlı got a free kick in the 55th minute. A collision led to T H F C getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Dominik Plumber hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Rupert McClure. Ged Pope received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Byron Wills came out and tried to block the shot, but Ged Pope slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 62nd minute. Byron Wills made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ged Pope in the 65th minute. Byron Wills was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Ged Pope capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ged Pope really showed his touch with that goal: 0-9. Gaston Sadurni was shown his second yellow card after 70 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 70th match minute, Marshrose was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute of the match Dominik Plumber sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Byron Wills skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ged Pope got free with Byron Wills in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Marshrose's Byron Wills got control of the ball when Ged Pope tried to sneak it across the goal line. Byron Wills made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ged Pope sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, Roger Crossley notched a goal, 0-12, to the right of Marshrose's Byron Wills. Byron Wills was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Byron Wills took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 96 minutes in the game, Lee Walton fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Byron Wills having to interfere. In the 99th minute, T H F C's Ged Pope ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Byron Wills. Byron Wills yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-13. T H F C played a much better game than Marshrose and deserved their victory. The Marshrose players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
