Spectators: 7591 (Terracing: 5694, Seating: 1746, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Cléberson Mendonça took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ramiro Gagriel was a little too slow when Cléberson Mendonça got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 3rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Saturnino Quiroga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ramiro Gagriel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Cléberson Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ramiro Gagriel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cléberson Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Christobal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saturnino Quiroga in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilmar Brasil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geronimo Domiku hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Esteve Benet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machine Gun Kelly and the Clapham Rovers players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Quiroga in the 45th minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Benet to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Evaristo Gaufred hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th minute, Gavin Sedgemore sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Machine Gun Kelly's Ramiro Gagriel didn't even have to move. In the 60th minute of the game Richard Thompson made a throw-in which Cléberson Mendonça played forward. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Saverio Procopio got a free kick in the 60th minute. Ramiro Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléberson Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilmar Brasil made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saturnino Quiroga in the 64th minute. Machine Gun Kelly's Esteve Benet got his second yellow card of the match in the 66th minute. The referee ordered Esteve Benet off the ground. Damien Quinn took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Gagriel. Ramiro Gagriel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. After a defensive mix-up in Machine Gun Kelly's zone, Gavin Sedgemore stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Gagriel came out of the goal and Gavin Sedgemore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Saverio Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gavin Sedgemore took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramiro Gagriel. Machine Gun Kelly's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 83 minutes of play, Clapham Rovers's João Francisco Toscano made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Gagriel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ramiro Gagriel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléberson Mendonça's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Clapham Rovers were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Machine Gun Kelly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gavin Sedgemore took the corner. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saturnino Quiroga during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th minute, Saturnino Quiroga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard and well directed shot from Gavin Sedgemore led 91 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Machine Gun Kelly's Ramiro Gagriel became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 5-0. When the referee ended the match the Clapham Rovers players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
