Spectators: 7444 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Garoa started the match with the kick off. Froylan Chagavia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuel Garoa's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 4th match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benja Belmonte to maneuver through the defense. Jerico Bazquez struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Javier Rocio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Aragua FC. In the 16th minute Jerico Bazquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Rocio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Filomeno Sidro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filomeno Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Froylan Chagavia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Sebastian Fagondo. After having played for 34 minutes, Emanuel Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Chabier Belon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Rocio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Aureliano Marchamalo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. La Scaloneta's Nicanor Ramos couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atletico Aragua FC. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Emanuel Garoa took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froylan Chagavia. Froylan Chagavia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Filomeno Sidro charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filomeno Sidro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Filomeno Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Froylan Chagavia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emanuel Garoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Froylan Chagavia was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. If Emanuel Garoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Atletico Aragua FC's Otsoko Queipo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Garoa in the 76th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Froylan Chagavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Filomeno Sidro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 79 minutes had been played. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Filomeno Sidro hit a great ball. Emanuel Garoa took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Froylan Chagavia. Froylan Chagavia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. After 87 minutes, Emanuel Garoa made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Garoa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Sebastian Fagondo got a free kick in the 93rd minute. La Scaloneta were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Atletico Aragua FC for a fine match.
