João Francisco Toscano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Javier Rocio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Javier Rocio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cléberson Mendonça showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. João Francisco Toscano in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Javier Rocio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 15th match minute, Clapham Rovers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donny Stockton to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 15 minutes, Emanuel Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Scaloneta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Garoa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gustavo Araoz during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Araoz. After taking down the ball on La Scaloneta's corner Nicanor Ramos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nilmar Brasil quite easily take care of the ball. Tal Hanes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Garoa in the 32nd minute of play forced Clapham Rovers's goalkeeper Nilmar Brasil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, João Francisco Toscano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Garoa. Emanuel Garoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilmar Brasil having to make a save. In the 42nd match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filomeno Sidro to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicanor Ramos during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donny Stockton managed to, on his own, get straight through La Scaloneta's defense and in the 45th minute placed the ball to the left of Javier Rocio. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cléberson Mendonça to make the kick off. Gavin Sedgemore scored 4-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javier Rocio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cléberson Mendonça sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Javier Rocio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Sebastian Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Tal Hanes got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Gavin Sedgemore got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59th minute Cléberson Mendonça shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Rocio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clapham Rovers's Cléberson Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the La Scaloneta defense, João Francisco Toscano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Rocio. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Rocio should have stopped the shot. After 72 minutes, Gavin Sedgemore made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gavin Sedgemore took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Anacleto Lauro hit a great ball. If Cléberson Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavin Sedgemore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Cléberson Mendonça came free, but Javier Rocio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Clapham Rovers booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gustavo Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the game, João Francisco Toscano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Javier Rocio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléberson Mendonça in the 92nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Francisco Toscano in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Javier Rocio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 95 played minutes Clapham Rovers got a freekick which was hit by Gavin Sedgemore. Clapham Rovers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
