Caricancha were awarded a corner in the 7th minute after Atletico Aragua FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Denis Orain took the corner. In the 9th minute, Fermin Precioso made a precise shot to the right of Froylan Chagavia. Atletico Aragua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 13th minute Otsoko Queipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Simon Llorenc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clinton Mata hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Chabier Belon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Caricancha booed when Atletico Aragua FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Quadros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Fermin Precioso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Froylan Chagavia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the match, Atletico Aragua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Clinton Mata came free, but Froylan Chagavia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caricancha's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Otsoko Queipo 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Froylan Chagavia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prospero Martino went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Denis Orain fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froylan Chagavia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsoko Queipo in the 33rd minute of play forced Caricancha's goalkeeper Simon Llorenc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Cordarin Alberete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Otsoko Queipo hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fermin Precioso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froylan Chagavia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Orain in the 47th minute of play forced Atletico Aragua FC's goalkeeper Froylan Chagavia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Caricancha were leading 1-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fermin Precioso made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Benja Belmonte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Caricancha's Denis Orain tried to score from far away in the 52nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. With his leg Froylan Chagavia managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Caricancha's Fermin Precioso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 55 minutes of play, Caricancha's Fermin Precioso made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Froylan Chagavia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Prospero Martino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Froylan Chagavia made a huge save. Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Aragua FC from getting a goal against them. Fermin Precioso did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-7 to the left of a surprised Froylan Chagavia 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Fermin Precioso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froylan Chagavia. Atletico Aragua FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fermin Precioso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-8. Froylan Chagavia was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fermin Precioso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-9 in the 73 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Chabier Belon had to leave the field with a concussion. When Jesus Jaunzuria fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caricancha's protests and gave Jesus Jaunzuria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Jesus Jaunzuria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aureliano Marchamalo during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Atletico Aragua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aureliano Marchamalo to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute Denis Orain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froylan Chagavia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froylan Chagavia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clinton Mata, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes, Fermin Precioso made it 1-11 with a short kick to the right side. Atletico Aragua FC's Froylan Chagavia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Clinton Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froylan Chagavia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-12. Caricancha played a much better game than Atletico Aragua FC and deserved their victory. The Atletico Aragua FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
