In the 21st match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Peyo to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the game, Saturnino Quiroga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Solustiano Ameyugo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Inacio Trevijano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Esteve Benet to make the kick off. When Nalo Autran came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Alianza Trujillo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nalo Autran couldn't finish the play. Jaime Peyo hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. With his leg Solustiano Ameyugo managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Machine Gun Kelly's Esteve Benet fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alianza Trujillo's Solustiano Ameyugo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Quiroga in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Machine Gun Kelly's goal looked a bit too open when Raulo Seda came free, but Ramiro Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alianza Trujillo made a substitution. Turi Sendin replaced Inacio Trevijano. After a rather tough play, Alianza Trujillo's Mario Verdeja got a free kick in the 69th minute. Turi Sendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Gagriel having to interfere. Alianza Trujillo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dolcet Bevia in the 84th minute. After taking down the ball on Alianza Trujillo's corner Raulo Seda fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ramiro Gagriel quite easily take care of the ball. A collision led to Machine Gun Kelly getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Jaime Peyo hit a great ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Machine Gun Kelly were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Alianza Trujillo side.
