Spectators: 7645 (Terracing: 5735, Seating: 1758, VIP seats: 152) T H F C's Rowan Tyler started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, XMAS's Armando Polidori got control of the ball when Rowan Tyler tried to sneak it across the goal line. Comunardo Quadrini kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Roger Crossley recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Armando Polidori. Roger Crossley showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Dale Kinsey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberigo Gianfrancesco in the 22nd minute of play. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowan Tyler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 32 minutes, Roger Crossley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T H F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roger Crossley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rowan Tylers short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Armando Polidori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armando Polidori made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Rowan Tyler sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the XMAS defense, Roger Crossley kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Polidori. The XMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Polidori should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Minichiello to strike the kick off in the second half. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Tyler in the 53rd minute of the match. After 55 minutes of play, T H F C's Roger Crossley made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Armando Polidori was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rowan Tyler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Roger Crossley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Tyler in the 65th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Rowan Tyler put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Polidori. T H F C's Ged Pope was substituted for Roger Crossley. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ged Pope, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Rowan Tyler put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Armando Polidori. If Rowan Tyler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Comunardo Quadrini kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Ernesto Minichiello hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Rowan Tyler's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Polidori was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Ennio De Nardis fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XMAS's protests and gave Ennio De Nardis a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of T H F C booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ennio De Nardis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Alberigo Gianfrancesco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Polidori didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when T H F C's Rowan Tyler shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 8-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberigo Gianfrancesco in the 91st minute of play forced T H F C's goalkeeper Dale Kinsey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Armando Polidori came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by T H F C's Rowan Tyler. But to his dismay, Rowan Tyler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. T H F C's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
