The supporters of XMAS booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Seyhun Usbey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Marshrose's corner Seyhun Usbey fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armando Polidori quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Seyhun Usbey in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Marshrose defense, Ernesto Minichiello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Byron Wills. The Marshrose fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Byron Wills should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute of the match Marshrose got a corner. XMAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Seyhun Usbey ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Minichiello in the 27th minute of play forced Marshrose's goalkeeper Byron Wills to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Seyhun Usbey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armando Polidori was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Seyhun Usbey in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Polidori saved XMAS from getting behind. Bara Misss short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Armando Polidori to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 31 minutes into the game, XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Byron Wills made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Concetto Marinucci kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Julio Kearney. The supporters of XMAS booed when Marshrose was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Griggs didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Bara Miss managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marshrose's supporters rose to their feet, but Bara Miss was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Polidori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

50 minutes into the match, Marshrose's Bara Miss sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armando Polidori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Armando Polidori stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bara Miss's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. Byron Wills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 54th minute of the match. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bara Miss in the 55th minute of play. If Jake Perrault had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Ennio De Nardis made a precise shot to the right of Byron Wills. Marshrose's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Byron Wills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Minichiello in the 68th minute of the match. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bara Miss in the 73rd minute of play. Bara Miss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Armando Polidori tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Bara Miss came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Marshrose fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bara Miss couldn't finish the play. Marshrose's Byron Wills played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberigo Gianfrancesco in the 77th minute of play. Ennio De Nardis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Byron Wills made a huge save. Julio Kearney hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Marshrose's Gaston Sadurni seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gaston Sadurni the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Marshrose protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gaston Sadurni had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Marshrose fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 85th minute. Penalty! Ernesto Minichiello who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Byron Wills when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 91 minutes, Ernesto Minichiello mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the XMAS and the Marshrose players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello got a free kick in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes Marshrose got a freekick which was hit by Jake Perrault. Emir Iğdırlı kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Byron Wills came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by XMAS's Ferruccio Cesaroni. But to his dismay, Ferruccio Cesaroni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The XMAS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
