The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Faustino Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 4 in the game by Damian Şoimaru from a close distance when the talented Javier Rocio managed to make a qualified save. La Scaloneta's players were relieved. Javier Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rareș Antonescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Emanuel Garoa in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marius Rusu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Filomeno Sidro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Marius Rusu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Şoimaru in the 29th minute of play. Javier Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 31st minute of play. Faustino Xabel's late challenge caught a FC ciufulici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Xabel helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio got control of the ball when Edgar Comarnescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 37th match minute, FC ciufulici was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ioan Almăgean to maneuver through the defense. Marius Rusu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

50 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Javier Rocio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Edgar Comarnescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javier Rocio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Damian Şoimaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC ciufulici's supporters rose to their feet, but Damian Şoimaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Javier Rocio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC ciufulici's Marius Rusu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Garoa in the 60th minute of play. Javier Rocio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Şoimaru in the 61st minute of the match. After 66 minutes La Scaloneta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edgar Vlas who took care of the corner kick. 67 minutes into the match, Edgar Vlas notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Javier Rocio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Comarnescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Sidro in the 86th minute of play forced FC ciufulici's goalkeeper Marius Rusu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Edgar Vlas notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 96 minutes of play, FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Javier Rocio was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC ciufulici walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
