FC ciufulici's Edgar Comarnescu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Saturnino Quiroga's late challenge caught a FC ciufulici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, FC ciufulici's Edgar Vlas broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After the first half FC ciufulici were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Esteve Benet made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Machine Gun Kelly was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Sayveon to maneuver through the defense. After 61 minutes, Evaristo Gaufred mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Machine Gun Kelly and the FC ciufulici players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Machine Gun Kelly's Evaristo Gaufred got a free kick in the 61st minute. 69 minutes into the game, Esteve Benet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Machine Gun Kelly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC ciufulici the free kick. The supporters of FC ciufulici booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteve Benet didn't get a good kick on the ball.
