An unexpectedly hard shot by Lee Walton in the 3rd minute of play forced XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of T H F C booed when XMAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Ascoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Polidori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rowan Tyler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Crossley in the 7th minute of the match. Dale Kinsey came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by XMAS's Ernesto Minichiello. But to his dismay, Ernesto Minichiello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, XMAS's goal looked a bit too open when Rowan Tyler came free, but Armando Polidori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Polidori came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by T H F C's Rowan Tyler. But to his dismay, Rowan Tyler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Roger Crossley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Armando Polidori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rowan Tyler went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Crossley, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Rowan Tyler managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. T H F C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rowan Tyler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When T H F C's Rowan Tyler in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye XMAS's goalie prevented a goal. Alessio Ascoli kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Rowan Tyler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Armando Polidori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Armando Polidori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rowan Tyler, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 46 minutes XMAS's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dominik Plumber who took care of the corner kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Minichiello to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Roger Crossley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Christian Zaccardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th match minute, XMAS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Zaccardi to maneuver through the defense. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rowan Tyler in the 72nd minute of the match. Philip Davenport's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Armando Polidori firmly grabbed it by the left post. After taking down the ball on T H F C's corner Rowan Tyler fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Armando Polidori quite easily take care of the ball. Ged Pope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dominik Plumber hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match.
