An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Eli in the 11th minute of play forced Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jorge Paz hit a great ball. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Deportivo O IRIXO's goalkeeper Leonardo Romani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Club Atletico Lanus's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Bieito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Club Atletico Lanus played a much better game than Club Deportivo O IRIXO and deserved their victory. The Club Deportivo O IRIXO players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
