Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nereo Diaz started the match with the kick off. Ahmet Gündüz Yesari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rafael Tano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ahmet Gündüz Yesari slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Derman İncirli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico Lanus's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ahmet Gündüz Yesari 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. If Nereo Diaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cabbar Özbilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guaberto Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Hatayspor's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Bastia came free, but Cabbar Özbilgin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th play minute Ahmet Gündüz Yesari came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rafael Tano. 3-1. In the 28th minute of the match, Yüce Saltukalp got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Tano was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Rafael Tano came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Hatayspor's Ahmet Gündüz Yesari. But to his dismay, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Cabbar Özbilgin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervasio Bieito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Hatayspor defense, Guaberto Bidun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cabbar Özbilgin. The Hatayspor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cabbar Özbilgin should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Diaz in the 41st minute of play forced Hatayspor's goalkeeper Cabbar Özbilgin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Club Atletico Lanus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervasio Bieito to maneuver through the defense. Rafael Tano was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Saltuk Uluç capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Saltuk Uluç really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. In the 48th minute Rodrigo Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cabbar Özbilgin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-2 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Gündüz Yesari stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cabbar Özbilgin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Diaz in the 51st minute of play. When Nereo Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Club Atletico Lanus fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nereo Diaz couldn't finish the play. Cabbar Özbilgin made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Gervasio Bieito sent off a good shot on target. 57 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Lanus's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Gündüz Yesari came free, but Rafael Tano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 59 played minutes, Hatayspor's Yüce Saltukalp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rafael Tano came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hatayspor reached it. If Yüce Saltukalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Tano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nusret Tanyol in the 64th minute of play. A collision led to Club Atletico Lanus getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Guaberto Bidun hit a great ball. Club Atletico Lanus's Rafael Tano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saltuk Uluç in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Club Atletico Lanus booed when Hatayspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bektaş Veli Arıtan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Hatayspor's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Bidun came free, but Cabbar Özbilgin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Gündüz Yesari struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Rafael Tano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hatayspor. After a rather tough play, Hatayspor's Saltuk Uluç got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Hatayspor's Cabbar Özbilgin got control of the ball when Nereo Diaz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Ahmet Gündüz Yesari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hatayspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Gündüz Yesari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute of the match, Rodrigo Eli tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cabbar Özbilgin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ahmet Gündüz Yesari kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Club Atletico Lanus's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
