But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonzalo Calcini couldn't finish the play. Moises Ugutz was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Germano Souza. When Célio Leme fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zandarin FC's protests and gave Célio Leme a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Leme to maneuver through the defense. Diogo Luz charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Diogo Luz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zandarin FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Rogério Paraense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Lauro in the 42nd minute of the match. A collision led to Firmat Foot Ball Club getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Robert Rojas hit a great ball. If Célio Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christiano Chaves was the one to do the kick off. Zandarin FC's Célio Leme got his second yellow card of the match in the 54th minute. The referee ordered Célio Leme off the ground. In the 55th match minute, Zandarin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Célio Leme to maneuver through the defense. If Christiano Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zézinho de Almeida charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zézinho de Almeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Firmat Foot Ball Club were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Zandarin FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobias Gartzi took the corner. After 71 played minutes Zandarin FC got a freekick which was hit by Germano Souza. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tobias Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Firmat Foot Ball Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Tobias Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogério Paraense breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Firmat Foot Ball Club booed when Zandarin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho de Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Firmat Foot Ball Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobias Gartzi in the 83rd minute. After 85 minutes, Tobias Gartzi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Firmat Foot Ball Club and the Zandarin FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 86th match minute, Firmat Foot Ball Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Gartzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 86th minute of the match Diogo Luz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moises Ugutz skillfully saved the ball. Rogério Paraense made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Gonzalo Calcini sent off a good shot on target. Gonzalo Calcini took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Paraense. Rogério Paraense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 95th minute of the match, Leonides Gartxot got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rogério Paraense was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 97th minute, Gonzalo Calcini fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rogério Paraense, passed just outside the right post. Firmat Foot Ball Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
