With his leg Vicente Fantini managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Fenrir BK's Einar Carlsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Leão in the 40th minute of play forced Fenrir BK's goalkeeper Olov Hult to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 42 minutes, Ramón Leão put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Olov Hult. 47 minutes into the game, one of Fenrir BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ernani Linares shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Oscar Smed made the kick off in the second half. Dragões Barbudos FC were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Fenrir BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ernani Linares took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Fenrir BK's goalie and right to Christian Dracena. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Fenrir BK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Olov Hult showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Dracena in the 59th minute of the match. Fenrir BK's Olov Hult proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Fenrir BK from getting a goal against them. In the 62nd match minute, Fenrir BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Lind to maneuver through the defense. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. After a rather tough play, Fenrir BK's Erik Gregersson got a free kick in the 87th minute. Olov Hult was a little too slow when Benê Favoretto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 90th minute. The score was now 1-3. Olov Hult made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benê Favoretto in the 94th minute of play. Oscar Peres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Olov Hult having to make a save. The supporters of Dragões Barbudos FC booed when Fenrir BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kevin Algren didn't get a good kick on the ball. 98 minutes into the match, Ramón Leão dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Olov Hult, 1-4. When the final whistle sounded Dragões Barbudos FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fenrir BK.
