Frederico Vianna started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the game, Eliézer Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bezerros EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BRASIL.Sp the free kick. After 2 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Queiroz. Gino Brito didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Freire went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. João Freire took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gino Brito. Gino Brito dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Frederico Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's Frederico Vianna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. BRASIL.Sp's Ubaldo Fillol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save BRASIL.Sp from getting a goal against them. Frederico Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 39 minutes into the game, BRASIL.Sp's João Freire nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gino Brito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Percy de Azevedo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 48 minutes into the match, BRASIL.Sp's Frederico Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Brito narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Bezerros EC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BRASIL.Sp were winning 0-4.

Gino Brito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frédson Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Bezerros EC booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Freire who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Gino Brito when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Bezerros EC's Gino Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederico Vianna in the 65th minute of play. Gino Brito made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cafu Azevedo in the 75th minute. In the 78th match minute, BRASIL.Sp was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. When Dedé Loyola came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Bezerros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dedé Loyola couldn't finish the play. When Edinho Corrêa fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bezerros EC's protests and gave Edinho Corrêa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 88th minute, Frederico Vianna ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gino Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. BRASIL.Sp played a much better game than Bezerros EC and deserved their victory. The Bezerros EC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
