After a defensive mix-up in Hispania's zone, Carlinhos Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nel Gutierrez came out of the goal and Carlinhos Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 18th match minute, Hispania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zuberoa Gomar to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Tadeu Bastos took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Nel Gutierrez to make any attempt to save it. Carlinhos Velasco hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. José Maria Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. The supporters of Hispania booed when Talento Futebol clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Talento Futebol clube's José Maria Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viviano Soto in the 30th minute of play. Andolin Acha charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andolin Acha the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd match minute, Hispania was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andolin Acha to maneuver through the defense. After 33 played minutes, Talento Futebol clube's Gualter Proença shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nel Gutierrez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talento Futebol clube reached it. After 45 minutes of play, Hispania's Cordero Sánchez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Maria Souza was left in no man's land by his defense there! After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Per-Arne Delin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Talento Futebol clube's Per-Arne Delin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nel Gutierrez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Talento Futebol clube getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Francois Custermans hit a great ball. With a little luck, Talento Futebol clube's José Maria Souza got control of the ball when Manoj Kasparov tried to sneak it across the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Cordero Sánchez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. José Maria Souza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Per-Arne Delin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Nel Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hispania's Nel Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Delin in the 71st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cordero Sánchez in the 73rd minute of play forced Talento Futebol clube's goalkeeper José Maria Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Maria Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordero Sánchez in the 73rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hispania eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
