Ubaldo Fillol made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. If João Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Talento Futebol clube booed when BRASIL.Sp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Freire stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The José Maria Souza was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. João Freire scored 2-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of José Maria Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
