Spectators: 7516 (Terracing: 5638, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roque Reuter took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 played minutes STARGARD FC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Wiederhold. TUSE's András Szaniszló got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Haßke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mátyás Gácsi, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lance Haßke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mátyás Gácsi in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, STARGARD FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after András Szaniszló fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Lance Haßke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from András Szaniszló, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 29 minutes of play, TUSE's András Szaniszló made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mátyás Gácsi to make the kick off. Mátyás Andrássy took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lance Haßke. Lance Haßke dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 56 minutes into the game, Miloš Kerkez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TUSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARGARD FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, TUSE's Miloš Kerkez got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, STARGARD FC's Roque Reuter ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tibor Kaiser. Tibor Kaiser yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Michael Ballack's late challenge caught a TUSE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Ballack helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to STARGARD FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Michael Ballack hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling András Szaniszló in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lance Haßke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute András Szaniszló shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lance Haßke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lance Haßke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. STARGARD FC's Lance Haßke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by András Szaniszló in the 83rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that András Szaniszló's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lance Haßke was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Mátyás Gácsi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lance Haßke having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, János Végvári was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TUSE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave STARGARD FC the free kick. János Végvári hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. TUSE's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
