Eliézer Queiroz helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Bezerros EC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Eliézer Queiroz hit a great ball. Gaby Batistuta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gino Brito came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaby Batistuta slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Alfonso Quinito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Gino Brito made a huge save. Lucas Chance's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Gino Brito firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 43rd minute of the match, Lucas Chance got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gino Brito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gaby Batistuta to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dráuzio Tasso in the 51st minute of play forced Devoto club social's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mart Palermo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bezerros EC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Chance was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Zacarias Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bezerros EC's Eliézer Queiroz got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Eliézer Queiroz off the ground. After 68 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Queiroz. 69 minutes into the match, Bezerros EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaby Batistuta came free, but Gino Brito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
