The referee ignored Möhnsen FC's protests and gave Knut Kuschel a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Aracatiara EC booed when Möhnsen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Knut Kuschel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 played minutes Aracatiara EC got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Donato. Narciso Ignatius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xerxes Kamper, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Möhnsen FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
