Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zico Matamoros during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Bob Chute kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dariusz Ziombkowski. That made the score 0-8 in the 53 minute of play. Dariusz Ziombkowski stood somewhat misplaced when Bob Dinamite came free in front of goal and shot 0-9 to the left of him in the 60 minute. Bob Chute received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dariusz Ziombkowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Misericordia EC booed when AKS Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Chrobak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dariusz Ziombkowski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. In the 78th match minute, AKS Chorzów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Wielkopolski to maneuver through the defense. Wágner Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Piekarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AKS Chorzów's Dariusz Ziombkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Ferraz in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute Bob Dinamite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zico Matamoros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dariusz Ziombkowski was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Misericordia EC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
