WAU team's Dráusio Siqueira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save WAU team from getting a goal against them. In the 5th match minute, Misericordia EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zico Matamoros to maneuver through the defense. If Claudinei de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Carlos Eduardo Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Ribeiro was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Dráusio Siqueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 13 minutes in the game, Luiz Paulo Ferraz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Wágner Ribeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudinei de Alcântara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wágner Ribeiro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by WAU team's Rony de Andrade. But to his dismay, Rony de Andrade quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Luís Eduardo Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, WAU team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Geovanni Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráusio Siqueira having to interfere. Dráusio Siqueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz in the 22nd minute of the match. Dráusio Siqueira made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Luiz Paulo Ferraz sent off a good shot on target. 23 minutes into the match, WAU team's goalkeeper Dráusio Siqueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Paulo Ferraz. A hard shot 24 in the game by Luiz Paulo Ferraz from a close distance when the talented Dráusio Siqueira managed to make a qualified save. WAU team's players were relieved. Wágner Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Alagoano in the 26th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Carlos Eduardo Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WAU team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Eduardo Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geovanni Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bob Dinamite got free with Dráusio Siqueira in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Misericordia EC's Bob Maravilha got a free kick in the 39th minute. Wágner Ribeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Alagoano in the 42nd minute of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luiz Paulo Ferraz to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Misericordia EC's goalkeeper Wágner Ribeiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Eduardo Alagoano. In the 57th minute Bob Dinamite shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráusio Siqueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráusio Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dráusio Siqueira came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Misericordia EC's Bob Dinamite. But to his dismay, Bob Dinamite quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Luiz Paulo Ferraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dráusio Siqueira. WAU team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Paulo Ferraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. WAU team's Dráusio Siqueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Paulo Ferraz in the 74th minute of play. Bob Dinamite scored 3-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dráusio Siqueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dráusio Siqueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by WAU team's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bob Dinamite was slow to take the kick. During this time Misericordia EC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Misericordia EC's corner Bob Dinamite fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dráusio Siqueira quite easily take care of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Zico Matamoros made a precise shot to the right of Dráusio Siqueira. WAU team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Luiz Paulo Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dráusio Siqueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Paulo Ferraz in the 87th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Jorginho Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Luiz Paulo Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Misericordia EC's zone, Rafa de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wágner Ribeiro came out of the goal and Rafa de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Misericordia EC fully deserved thier win.
