In the 12th minute Hector Gizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dariusz Ziombkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute of the match San Martin de Tucuman got a corner. AKS Chorzów's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dariusz Ziombkowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Zachary Bentkowski made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Maximo Diegotxe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to AKS Chorzów getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Mateusz Solecki hit a great ball. Dariusz Ziombkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Gizon in the 69th minute of the match. Rafael Roldanillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dariusz Ziombkowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Epifanio Paulin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, San Martin de Tucuman's Alfonso Weather got control of the ball when Maksymilian Piekarczyk tried to sneak it across the goal line.
