The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isidoro Mangas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, San Martin de Tucuman was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Blas Oxarra to maneuver through the defense. When Isidoro Mangas came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the VILLARREAL UNITED fans jumped to their feet. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Gizon in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tome Campoamor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of VILLARREAL UNITED booed when San Martin de Tucuman was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flavio Blai didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Martin de Tucuman's Claudio Hondo was substituted for Matias Eate. San Martin de Tucuman's Epifanio Paulin was substituted for Rafael Roldanillo.
