He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in San Martin de Tucuman reached it. Maximo Diegotxe charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximo Diegotxe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maximo Diegotxe hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After 48 played minutes San Martin de Tucuman got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Clodio. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Douglas Gerber made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hector Gizon in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Paiva saved Curiphila Eagles from getting behind. Moises Vela made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Douglas Gerber sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Douglas Gerber took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Moises Vela to make any attempt to save it. Moises Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Vianna in the 75th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hector Gizon in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Murilo Paiva prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 81stth minute of the game Hector Gizon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curiphila Eagles's Murilo Paiva was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When San Martin de Tucuman's Hector Gizon in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th minute, Douglas Gerber got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Vela made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Douglas Gerber sent off a good shot on target.
