The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Edelmiro Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Rahman Al Youha, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Heriberto during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 4 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Heriberto. Eleuterio Frederico hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Hakem Khorshed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute, Bonifacio Heriberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 20th minute of play. Saif Abo Al Hasan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Khalefa Al Homaithe came free, but Edelmiro Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 27th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vinará FC's Eleuterio Frederico got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, Vinará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Illan to maneuver through the defense. Edelmiro Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edrees Al Najdi in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Saif Abo Al Hasan made a precise shot to the right of Edelmiro Txaran. Vinará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hakem Khorshed scored 0-3 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Txaran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Vinará FC defense, Hakem Khorshed kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edelmiro Txaran. The Vinará FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edelmiro Txaran should have stopped the shot. Hakem Khorshed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edelmiro Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalefa Al Homaithe in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Golden Tigers were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th match minute, Vinará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Frederico to maneuver through the defense. If Hakem Khorshed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saif Abo Al Hasan in the 60th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Hakem Khorshed tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edelmiro Txaran saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 67 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Txaran had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdul Rahman Al Youha. Agustin Illan hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saif Abo Al Hasan in the 69th minute of play forced Vinará FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Golden Tigers's Abdul Rahman Al Youha ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edelmiro Txaran. Edelmiro Txaran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When Sylwester Fikus fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinará FC's protests and gave Sylwester Fikus a yellow card for diving instead. 73 minutes into the game, one of Vinará FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 75 minutes, Golden Tigers's Edrees Al Najdi got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Edelmiro Txaran. Edelmiro Txaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakem Khorshed in the 82nd minute. In the 83rd minute, Golden Tigers's Khalefa Al Homaithe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edelmiro Txaran. Edelmiro Txaran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. In the 87th minute of the match Edrees Al Najdi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edelmiro Txaran showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 89 played minutes Golden Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Hakem Khorshed. Edelmiro Txaran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 97th minute. Golden Tigers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
