An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Zisser in the 6th minute of play forced Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Fanis Bakosis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Capone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Lorien in the 13th minute. Fanis Bakosis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Vieri went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fanis Bakosis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrico Tassotti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Albano Luke got a very nice opportunity to score, but Arrigo Capone was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 31st minute of the match Tiburones Rojos got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albano Luke ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Tiburones Rojos's corner Albano Luke fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Arrigo Capone quite easily take care of the ball. Ruben Lorien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 36 minutes into the game, Achille Luciano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzo Style f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tiburones Rojos the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Lorien got free with Arrigo Capone in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ruben Lorien to make the kick off. Teofilo Venceslao struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Arrigo Capone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiburones Rojos. In the 57th minute Gaudencio Salomone shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Capone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Egoitz during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fausto Egoitz hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Vieri in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fanis Bakosis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 65 minutes into the game, Tiburones Rojos's Ruben Lorien nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arrigo Capone made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. With an all-out effort, Gonzo Style f.c's Fanis Bakosis threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Davide Zisser, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Zisser in the 82nd minute of play forced Tiburones Rojos's goalkeeper Fanis Bakosis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amedeo Signoretti kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, Tiburones Rojos's Ruben Lorien sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arrigo Capone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tiburones Rojos's Gerardo Ederono was substituted for Sixto Tristan. After 87 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Antico. If Ruben Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Tiburones Rojos were the better team. Tiburones Rojos's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
