Vinará FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Elbert Spanjer scored to the left of an out of position Edelmiro Txaran, making the score, 2-0. 22 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Craandijk came free, but Edelmiro Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Vinará FC from getting a goal against them. Herman Craandijk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Txaran having to interfere. Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Klasen in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Elbert Spanjer made a precise shot to the right of Edelmiro Txaran. Vinará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Edelmiro Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasper Staarman in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Jasper Staarman made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vinará FC's Edelmiro Txaran tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Edelmiro Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elbert Spanjer in the 38th minute of the match. After 40th play minutes Jasper Staarman shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Edelmiro Txaran and just under the crossbar into goal. If Koos Keupink had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Guter was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes, Bonifacio Heriberto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vinará FC and the De Pelgrims players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 minutes of play, De Pelgrims's Jasper Staarman made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Txaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 70th minute Herman Craandijk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Txaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Txaran didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jasper Staarman went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. In the 74th match minute, Vinará FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaudencio Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. Mickael Achterberg hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Faustino Guter's late challenge caught a De Pelgrims's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. De Pelgrims's Jan Klasen got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 played minutes, De Pelgrims's Tonnie Ter shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edelmiro Txaran came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in De Pelgrims reached it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sylwester Fikus during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Vinará FC's Sylwester Fikus got a free kick in the 94th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Pelgrims fully deserved thier win.
