When Herminio Molina fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Orihuela Club de Fútbol's protests and gave Herminio Molina a yellow card for diving instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enrico Tassotti got free with Joey Molina in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davide Zisser in the 27th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Joey Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina got control of the ball when Augusto Vieri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arrigo Capone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrigo Capone came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Herminio Molina. But to his dismay, Herminio Molina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enrico Tassotti stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Desiderio Perutxo in the 53rd minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Capone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. When Alvise Pezzi fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gonzo Style f.c's protests and gave Alvise Pezzi a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Alvise Pezzi got a free kick in the 76th minute. The supporters of Orihuela Club de Fútbol booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amerigo Giardino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Perutxo struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Arrigo Capone didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Orihuela Club de Fútbol. Arrigo Capone was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Desiderio Perutxo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 93 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
