The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. El Stradivarius's Melchor Medero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save El Stradivarius from getting a goal against them. After 4 played minutes El Stradivarius got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Marquez. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Lorien got free with Melchor Medero in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ruben Lorien kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Melchor Medero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Albano Luke went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Ruben Lorien succeeded in the game's 12th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. 15 minutes into the match, Albano Luke dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Melchor Medero, 3-0. After a rather tough play, El Stradivarius's Adan Pereyra got a free kick in the 19th minute. After some careless play in the El Stradivarius defense, Teofilo Venceslao kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Medero. The El Stradivarius fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Medero should have stopped the shot. In the 23rd minute, Albano Luke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Medero was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Melchor Medero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruben Lorien in the 26th minute. In the 29th minute, Albano Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. El Stradivarius's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Ruben Lorien scored to the left of an out of position Melchor Medero, making the score, 6-0. Tiburones Rojos's Ruben Lorien got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 36 minutes into the match, Ruben Lorien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Medero. El Stradivarius's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ruben Lorien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Ramon Urbez scored 7-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rosendo Argi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. El Stradivarius's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Albano Luke scored to the left of an out of position Melchor Medero, making the score, 8-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 8-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Lorien made a kick off. After 54 minutes El Stradivarius's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Albano Luke who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Lorien in the 55th minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Melchor Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ruben Lorien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 minutes, Marcos Daunte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Stradivarius and the Tiburones Rojos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tiburones Rojos booed when El Stradivarius was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Daunte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Luke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Melchor Medero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melchor Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Dimas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Tiburones Rojos got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Tristan. Melchor Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Lorien in the 85th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Albano Luke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tiburones Rojos's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Luke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melchor Medero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiburones Rojos made a substitution. Gerardo Ederono replaced Sixto Tristan. Tiburones Rojos made a substitution. Teodosio Lain replaced Teofilo Venceslao. After 91 minutes of play, Tiburones Rojos's Teodosio Lain made it 11-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Medero was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 95th minute Albano Luke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Tiburones Rojos players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
