Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Joey Molina proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Orihuela Club de Fútbol from getting a goal against them. 16 minutes into the game, Dario Huguet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salmuera CP the free kick. Joey Molina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Fidencio in the 17th minute of play. Joey Molina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Fidencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eloy Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Eloy Vela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Perutxo in the 34th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, Desiderio Perutxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Vela. Salmuera CP's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Perutxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Desiderio Perutxo in the 38th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Perutxo in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Vela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joey Molina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Nevada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Desiderio Perutxo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Don Cabezon got a free kick in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Leon Vargas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Salmuera CP's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Vargas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joey Molina breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Salmuera CP getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Samuel Gorbea hit a great ball. After having played for 58 minutes, Desiderio Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orihuela Club de Fútbol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Desiderio Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Desiderio Perutxo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Eloy Vela. That made the score 0-2 in the 60 minute of play. Eloy Vela made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Don Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Eloy Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romo Briso kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Leon Vargas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Nevada came free, but Joey Molina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Desiderio Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eloy Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the game, Salmuera CP's Horacio Nevada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joey Molina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Salmuera CP's Eloy Vela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Salmuera CP from getting a goal against them. Eloy Vela was a little too slow when Desiderio Perutxo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 1-3. 90 minutes into the game, Salmuera CP's Anibal Fidencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joey Molina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. Adolfo Tabby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joey Molina having to interfere. Joey Molina didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Fidencio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Salmuera CP were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Orihuela Club de Fútbol to leave the ground with a draw.
