In the 8th minute Rene Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis Selatse made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Laerte Cardozo sent off a good shot on target. 15 minutes into the game, Rene Ilixo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Timo!'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Inacio F.C. the free kick. In the 15th minute, Rene Ilixo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Cardozo came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Marcelo Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Timo!'s Dionisio Bastia got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 29 minutes of play Timo!'s Rene Ilixo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Inacio F.C. booed when Timo! was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Ilixo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio de Toledo came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luis Selatse could save by the left post. Dionisio Bastia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Cordarin having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Luis Selatse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Timo!'s Luis Selatse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Timo! from getting a goal against them. In the 38th minute, Cayetano Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 played minutes, Inacio F.C.'s Laerte Cardozo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis Selatse came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Inacio F.C. reached it. 43 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Cardozo came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timo!'s Luis Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Cardozo in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Timo!'s goalkeeper Luis Selatse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Marcelo Terra made the kick off in the second half. Luis Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Martins in the 56th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Túlio de Toledo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inacio F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 66th minute Rubens Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Cayetano Dantel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute of the match João Costa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Selatse showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 73 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Dantel. Marcelo Terra scored 2-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Selatse, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Lope during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st match minute, Timo! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Lope to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Timo!'s goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Cardozo came free, but Luis Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Inacio F.C.'s Marcelo Terra nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Inacio F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
