Seating: 1717, VIP seats: 149) Golden Tigers's Abdul Rahman Al Youha started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Yaqoub Bo Resley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Golden Tigers and the El Stradivarius players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yaqoub Bo Resley hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Melchor Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hakem Khorshed, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Melchor Medero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Khalefa Al Homaithe in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalefa Al Homaithe in the 13th minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Melchor Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Basem Al Baghli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melchor Medero. El Stradivarius's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Basem Al Baghli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Khalefa Al Homaithe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Medero having to make a save. Melchor Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalefa Al Homaithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Aadil Al Harban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramon Urbez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdul Rahman Al Youha in the 22nd minute of play forced El Stradivarius's goalkeeper Melchor Medero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cirilo Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes of play, Golden Tigers's Abdul Rahman Al Youha made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Melchor Medero was left in no man's land by his defense there! 33 minutes into the game, Abdul Rahman Al Youha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Melchor Medero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hakem Khorshed recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goal looked a bit too open when Khalefa Al Homaithe came free, but Melchor Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Khalefa Al Homaithe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Melchor Medero came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Golden Tigers's Abdul Rahman Al Youha. But to his dismay, Abdul Rahman Al Youha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Melchor Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalefa Al Homaithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Moises Sauveur charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Moises Sauveur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 44 played minutes El Stradivarius got a freekick which was hit by Moises Sauveur. After some careless play in the El Stradivarius defense, Khalefa Al Homaithe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melchor Medero. The El Stradivarius fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melchor Medero should have stopped the shot. After the first half Golden Tigers were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Cirilo Escobar made the kick off in the second half. Aadil Al Harban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Urbez in the 52nd minute of play. In the 55th minute Khalefa Al Homaithe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Medero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Khalefa Al Homaithe took a quick shot and it went in 0-7 without a chance for Melchor Medero to make any attempt to save it. 65 minutes into the match, El Stradivarius's goal looked a bit too open when Khalefa Al Homaithe came free, but Melchor Medero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Melchor Medero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalefa Al Homaithe, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. El Stradivarius's Melchor Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakem Khorshed in the 71st minute of play. When Ramon Urbez fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Stradivarius's protests and gave Ramon Urbez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to El Stradivarius getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ramon Urbez hit a great ball. In the 77th minute, Golden Tigers's Saif Abo Al Hasan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Melchor Medero. Melchor Medero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Khalefa Al Homaithe succeeded in the game's 83rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-9. The crowd rose to their feet as Golden Tigers's Hakem Khorshed slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Melchor Medero. That made the score 0-10 after 87 minutes of play. In the 89th minute, Hakem Khorshed ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Melchor Medero was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Melchor Medero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakem Khorshed in the 92nd minute. Agustin Marquez hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the game, Abdul Rahman Al Youha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melchor Medero. Abdul Rahman Al Youha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-12. Golden Tigers's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
