In the 8th minute, Vladimiro Morientes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Perutxo came free, but Edelmiro Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Txaran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Desiderio Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desiderio Perutxo in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edelmiro Txaran saved Vinará FC from getting behind. In the 24th minute, Desiderio Perutxo made a precise shot to the right of Edelmiro Txaran. Vinará FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 28th minute, Desiderio Perutxo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Txaran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 33 minutes into the game, Don Cabezon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Edelmiro Txaran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 42 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Don Cabezon came free, but Edelmiro Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Vinará FC's zone, Don Cabezon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Txaran came out of the goal and Don Cabezon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vinará FC were furious when Sylwester Fikus was red carded, 46 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 47 played minutes Vinará FC got a freekick which was hit by Sylwester Fikus. 48 minutes into the match, Desiderio Perutxo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Txaran. Vinará FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Desiderio Perutxo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Guter was the one to do the kick off. Edelmiro Txaran was a little too slow when Desiderio Perutxo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 0-7. In the 57th minute Desiderio Perutxo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Txaran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Txaran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Perutxo in the 59th minute of play. Don Cabezon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 61st playminute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Guter in the 69th minute of play forced Orihuela Club de Fútbol's goalkeeper Joey Molina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Desiderio Perutxo came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Orihuela Club de Fútbol fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Desiderio Perutxo couldn't finish the play. Denis Huly hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Txaran made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Don Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Labarra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Edelmiro Txaran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Vinará FC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Perutxo came free, but Edelmiro Txaran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 93 minutes, Edelmiro Txaran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 95th minute, Don Cabezon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Orihuela Club de Fútbol's Gilberto Zubiaga got a free kick in the 97th minute. Orihuela Club de Fútbol played a much better game than Vinará FC and deserved their victory. The Vinará FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
