Martien Degenkamp who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 8thth minute tested the skills of 余锋剑 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Klaas Jan Lammers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部's goalkeeper 余锋剑, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部's 余锋剑 got control of the ball when Martien Degenkamp tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute, Edwin Batum hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Bal op het Dak's Julius van Zijl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 武永铮 in the 30th minute of play. Julius van Zijl came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部's 胡锋烽. But to his dismay, 胡锋烽 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 35th minute Martien Degenkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 余锋剑 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 余锋剑 was a little too slow when Klaas Jan Lammers got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. When 胡锋烽 came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 胡锋烽 couldn't finish the play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some careless play in the ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部 defense, Klaas Jan Lammers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 余锋剑. The ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 余锋剑 should have stopped the shot. In the 77th minute, Klaas Jan Lammers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 余锋剑 was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 79th minute of the game. The referee gave FC Bal op het Dak a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Michael Stekelenburg, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ★ 东北军★【以梦为马】中国香港传奇俱乐部's 余锋剑. 6-1. 余锋剑 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaas Jan Lammers, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
